It's a lowland streaked tenrec—a small mammal found in the rainforest on the eastern side of Madagascar. Its covered in sharp black and yellow quills, kind of like a porcupine.
This one was photographed by PhD student Asia Murphy, who has worked closely with WCS Madagascar. She came across it while checking camera traps with another WCS Madagascar staffer.
"There were a bunch of them," she said, "a mama and her babies. But the rest of them scattered into the undergrowth and I only had a clear shot of one."
