This Siamese croc, immersed in water resembling the old Nickelodeon slime, has reason to hide. Its species, found in Southeast Asia, is critically endangered, thanks to threats like habitat loss and hunting for its highly-valued skin. The largest remaining population is in Cambodia, where there are less than 150 animals left scattered widely.
