WCS Mesoamerica has launched an exciting photo contest on its Facebook page. “Eyes of the Jaguar” invites the people
of Central America to showcase the wonder and plight of the region’s wildlife
through their own eyes—and cell phones.
The three winning
photographers, as chosen by a panel of judges, will earn a trip to one of the greatest remaining wild places in
Central America, Guatemala’s Maya Biosphere Reserve. There, they’ll be
accompanied by renowned wildlife photographer, Fernando Martínez Belmar (see his work below), to practice and hone their skills and see animals firsthand.
Your tax-deductible gift supports cutting-edge exhibits, first-class
animal care, and in-depth research to help threatened wildlife
survive and thrive.
