Welcome to the world Athi!

The researchers at Congo's Mbeli bai have announced they recently spotted a new baby at the clearing. It was with a group that visits the bai infrequently, led by a gorilla named Khan.

Its mother, Axel, seen here carrying Athi, is 13 and now a mother for the second time.
