WCS conservationists and local villagers have made a major discovery near a pond in Cambodia's Koh Kong province: a nest with 19 rare Siamese crocodile eggs.

Due to habitat loss and poaching, Siamese crocodiles are critically endangered. There may only be 400 or so adults left in the wild. So these eggs are crucial.

For protection, the eggs have been moved to a safe location where their progress can be monitored.
