We are emptying the ocean of everything valuable and filling it with our waste, writes WCS's Jason Patlis and National Geographic explorer-in-residence Sylvia Earle. Now, they say, is the perfect time to act. "Ten years from now it will be too late, with irreparable harm done to the ocean and its precious wildlife."
