Jeanne Brown
Jeanne Brown supports 25 WCS country programs in the creation of and effective management of marine protected areas and other area-based interventions, and coordinates program activities in science, conservation and policy.
She applies experience in conservation planning, financing and implementation, marine benthic and fisheries research, and climate adaptation strategies for coastal and marine communities and ecosystems. Her research and conservation experience spans the Caribbean, California, Alaska, Maine, New York, and the Philippines where she served as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer working on community-based coastal resources management.
