Haley Williams
Haley is part of the Global Marine Program and leads communications for WCS's global coral reef conservation work. She works with staff around the world to help them communicate to a variety of stakeholders, from writing and pitching op-eds to designing infographics and reports, with an emphasis on the intersection between the social and the ecological.
She began her career in social and environmental impact communications in the agricultural sector, creating and managing processes for reporting on key issues like water use and forced labor within a global supply chain. Prior to that, Haley was Design Editor for Berkeley’s environmental science and art quarterly, and then Design Editor and Senior Editorial Board Member at The Daily Californian.
She graduated from U.C. Berkeley with a degree in Conservation & Resource Studies and English, specializing in ecocriticism and science writing.
