SMS Texting Policy
The following terms and conditions apply to the Wildlife Conservation Society’s (“WCS’s”) Text Messaging Program.
Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older, or at least 13 years old and have the express permission of a parent/guardian, to receive text messages from WCS. You also must be a U.S. resident.
How to Sign Up
WCS may provide you with an opportunity to opt in to receive special offers and other communications via text messages on your mobile phone. You can opt in to receive this messaging by providing WCS with your mobile phone number on a social media page, website or email. You also can opt in by texting the word JOIN to 67071.
Your Consent
When you provide your mobile phone number or text the word listed above, you consent to receive recurring, autodialed telemarketing text messages at your given mobile number, including short message service (SMS) messages.
Terms and Conditions
By opting in, you accept and agree to be bound by WCS’s Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and any other applicable terms, and you consent to the processing of your personal information as set forth in those policies. You also agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
Charges
Standard carrier message and data rates may apply. Please check your mobile service carrier's pricing plan to determine the charges associated with sending and receiving text messages. All charges are billed by, and payable to, your mobile service provider. WCS does not charge you for sending or receiving text (SMS) messages to 67071.
How to Opt Out
You are able to opt out from future messages at any time by texting STOP to 67071 from your mobile phone. You may also opt out by texting END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE or QUIT to 67071. You agree that if you request to opt out from future messages, we may send you a one-time opt-out text message to confirm. If you would like to join again after opting out, please sign up as you did the first time and we will resume sending automated SMS messages to you again. WCS reserves the right to remove subscribers from our messaging database at our discretion.

Carriers (US only)
This text messaging program may not be available on all wireless carriers. The program is currently available for AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile and Metro PCS, along with other carriers. WCS may add or remove any wireless carrier from this program without notice. Mobile access and text message delivery is subject to your mobile carrier’s network availability. Such access and delivery is not guaranteed. Neither mobile carriers nor WCS are liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Frequency
Frequency of text messages may vary per user and depending on subject matter.
Your Personal Information
Data obtained from you in connection with the Text Messaging Program may include your mobile phone number; your carrier's name; the date, time and content of your messages; and other information you provide to us as part of the Text Messaging Program. WCS may use this information to contact you and to provide the services you request from WCS.
