Poaching, snaring, habitat destruction, depletion of prey populations, and human-cat conflict have placed pressure on iconic big cat species, leaving them under threat. But the story of big cats is one of resilience and hope. Populations of tigers and jaguars and the landscapes they call home are recovering, thanks to the efforts of WCS and partners.
